I stand and watch her from the altar
None as beautiful as she..
She has captured my heart, and I look on almost in a daze at her splendor
Amazed at how he, my friend loves her
Her eyes steadfast on him
Dress white, like light and he falls for her again
All he can see from where he stands is her
Innocent, pure, blameless and His
Her innocence proceeds her
Cause he has with love washed her from all her past speaks
And I cant sit quiet as they rape her…
She guiltless longing to show love and to give
And they like bandits take from her
She not knowing she can scream, white with innocence
Robbed with offerings and sacrifices, he never asked for
Blindly lead by those she calls father
And they with unashamed pride take and degrade all she is
I can’t sit quiet as they defile her
Speaking as if they know him
Calling Him their brother, but their actions say they don’t know him
I cant sit quiet, I have seen how he loves her.
And we pervert her with fables
Trickery deception, taking from her all she has to give
We cripple her with our fear, only listen to me til He gets here
Though his voice has not been silent to her, we quiet it with lies
We like thieves teach her to hide when he calls her to shine, robbing her of his light
Like pimps stealing her freedom only allowing her to engage in what we have approved
Is she not still his? No longer his bride? Does he not still love her?
Are we to have laid with her like she is our own…
Are we to dishonor her with our pride and titles…
Have we slept with our kings wife…
I cannot sit quiet, I have seen how he loves her.
